Chris is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel who transitioned into the private sector after a career with the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Chris is an accomplished project and program manager with more than 30 years of experience leading large and diverse organizations ranging in size upwards to 1800 employees. He has recently served in capacities as an executive director, program manager, and chief of staff, and is an expert in leadership, effective communications, strategic planning, and organizational management. His notable assignments during his US Army career include Engineer Brigade Deputy Commander, Design Engineer Chief, Engineer Battalion Commander, Division Engineer, Division Deputy Chief of Staff, and Facilities Manager. He also served as the Deputy District Engineer for the St. Paul District of the US Army Corps of Engineers and Professor of Military Science and Department Chair for Army ROTC at Michigan Technological University. Chris is currently the President of the Society of American Military Engineers, Mount Tacoma Post.
