CAE provided staff augmentation services, initially with the contracting and construction of a joint utility trench on NW Newport Way necessary to address a slope failure. This included significant fast-paced coordination with the general contractor, Puget Sound Energy, Lumen, Cascade Water, Comcast, and all stakeholders in the rerouting of their facilities. The City extended CAE’s contract for design and construction management for the 2023 Strategic Small Capital Project (TR058). The 3rd Court project was originally part of this package. Glenn Chouinard, as interim PM, field verified and provided QA on that design. CAE was also involved in resolving contract claim issues for Providence Pointe intersection improvements, and scope development and RFP for the current I-90 Crossing Study.
Support for city staffing augmentation: Provided support to the city during departmental staff changes and to support City staff leave.
